Welcome to the rodsager.com weather blog. All weather statistics have been gathered at my location in East Vancouver since 2002 unless otherwise noted. It is 13.24 miles Northeast of Portland, OR in Clark County, Washington, at 45-40' N by 122-31' W and 268 feet above mean sea level. I am at the base of the Cascade foothills 8.49 miles ENE from Downtown Vancouver.

With El Nino firmly in place since the New Year began our temperatures went from near record cold in December to one of the warmest Januaries on record. Below are charts showing the temperatures, rainfall and snowfall from Thanksgiving 2009 through the end of January 2010. Notice that December was well under average for both highs and lows and January was well above average.
